The team at Attleborough Community Hub has won an award for their ‘outstanding contribution to customer focus.’
Presented by Norfolk County Council, the award recognises changes made by the team to improve the way they provide support to customers at the Hub.
These include better communication, a more flexible approach and the formation of a parent/carer group to manage an amenities fund. The team has also organised a number of fundraising events to raise money for new equipment so better activities can be offered to customers.
Talking about the award, support worker Andrea Coates said: “I am extremely proud, this is why I do my job”.
Service manager Cat Evans told us: ‘’I am so proud to be the manager of such a hardworking and proactive team of staff, who have taken an active role in instigating changes that move our service forward.’’
