We celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day

The 80th anniversary of VE Day was celebrated across our services, with lots of tea, cake, 40s music and fashion.

Customers and guests at Rosewood Community Hub welcomed back singer Karla Beare for a wartime-themed song and dance.

At Dereham Community Hub, customers and colleagues dressed in period clothes to enjoy a cream tea, followed by a good old fashioned singalong to wartime music led by Claire and TAPS. At 3pm everyone went quiet to listen to a replaying of Winston Churchill’s VE Day speech - at exactly the same time as 80 years ago.
