Members and staff from Dereham Community Hub had a great time at the UEA on 12th August, taking part in a cycling event organised by the Sportspark’s Inclusive Sports Club for disabled groups and individuals.
Aimed at giving more people the chance to get in the saddle, attendees were able to try out a range of adapted cycles on the athletics track, courtesy of mobility equipment specialists Quest 88. There was also the opportunity to take part in Active Norfolk’s challenge to ‘virtually’ cycle the Norfolk stage of the Tour of Britain.
The event was a great way for individuals with different levels of physical and cognitive abilities to participate in cycling, promoting fitness and inclusion. We’d like to thank the organisers for making it such a fun day out for everyone who took part.
