We take a ride in Norfolk's new Wheelyboat at Blakeney launch

We'd like to say a massive thank you to The Wheelyboat Trust for inviting us to the launch of Norfolk's first accessible powerboat.
The launch took place at Blakeney Harbour and Ali and Jonathan from Holt Community Hub were there to take a ride in it.
“We were so lucky to take part and had a wonderful time. The Wheelyboat gives people with all types of disability the opportunity to access the water - there is even an opportunity to drive the boat!
"Jonathan and I loved the trip out to sea looking at the other boats, wildlife, learning about the buoys and their positions for boats, and feeling the sea spray from the waves.
"When we returned to the Hub the excitement Jonathan had while sharing his experience with his friends was priceless. We will be having more trips in the future!”
Visit The Fakenham Times website for a full report and photos.
More information about Wheelyboats is available on The Wheelyboat Trust's website or call 07785 731804 if you are interested in booking a trip in Poppy.
